Can I archive or delete a chat, or block someone?
Chats can't be archived or deleted yet. What to do instead: mute, leave a group, delete your messages, or block from a profile.

Zinola doesn't have a way to archive or delete a chat yet. You can quiet a chat, leave a group or circle, or block a person.
What you can do instead

| Stop a chat buzzing | Mute it for 8 hours, a week or always. See Mute a chat. |
| Leave a group | Open the group's settings and tap Leave this group. You stop seeing what's said there. Leaving a group doesn't take you out of the circle. |

| Remove one of your messages | Delete it for everyone within 2 days. See Edit or delete a message. |

Block someone
Blocking isn't in the chat's own menu. Do it from their profile.
Open their profile
In a personal chat, tap their name at the top. Anywhere else, tap their name or photo.Tap ⋯ › Block
Confirm when asked.
After you block someone, neither of you can message the other. To undo it, go to your settings › Privacy & safety › Blocked people. See Block or unblock someone.
Circle admins
If someone is causing trouble in a circle you run, you can mute, remove or block them from the circle. See Manage members.
Common questions
How do I delete a chat on Zinola?
You can't delete a whole chat yet. You can mute it, leave a group, or delete your own messages within 2 days of sending them.
How do I block someone who keeps messaging me?
Open their profile, tap ⋯ and choose Block. Neither of you can then message the other.
Where do I unblock someone?
In your settings, under Privacy & safety › Blocked people.
