Order together with a group buy

A group buy lets neighbors order something together, like a bulk order of rice, mangoes from a farm or water cans, so the person organizing it sees one total. Nothing is paid through Zinola.

Start a group buy

1. Open the group and tap +

   Choose Group buy. You can also start one from the circle's Board with Start a group buy.

2. Say what you're buying

   Fill in What are you buying together?

3. Add a price and unit

   The price is optional, for example ₹120 / kg. The unit is what orders are counted in, such as kg, box or can.

4. Set when orders close

   Pick a time under Orders close, then send it.

Admins can always start a group buy. Members can if Start group buys is open to everyone in Circle permissions. Group buys aren't available in personal chats.

Join one

Tap Count me in on the card, then set how many you want with One more and One less. Your order shows on the card. To leave, tap Take my order out.

The card shows the running total and how many neighbors are in. Tap Who ordered to see each order.

One order per home

In a residence circle the card says ONE ORDER PER HOME. If someone at your door already ordered, you'll see Your home has already ordered, with Change it to mine or Keep their order.

Close orders

The person who started it, or an admin, can tap Close orders. Nobody can join or change their order after that, and everyone can still see the total. The organizer then passes the total on to the seller.
