What you can add

| Gallery / Camera | Up to 10 photos in one message. |
| Document | Up to 5 files in one message, each up to 15 MB. A bill, a circular, the AGM minutes. |
| Location | Send your current location once, or move the pin and choose Send this location. You can name it, such as “Gate 2”. It does not follow you. |
| Contact | A phone number from your contacts, or one you type, with an optional name. |
| Poll | See Polls. |
| Event | See Events inside a circle. |
| Sell | Post something for sale, to lend or wanted to the circle. See Sell inside a circle. |
| Group buy | See Group buys. |
Some of these may be for admins only in your circle. See Circle permissions. Polls, events and group buys aren't offered in personal chats.
Links, emoji, stickers and GIFs
- Paste a link and a preview appears. To send without it, tap Send without the link preview.
- In the app, the smiley in the box opens Emoji, Stickers and GIF. GIFs are powered by GIPHY.
- Type @ to tag people, up to 20 in one message.
Common questions
How big a file can I send in a circle chat?
Each document can be up to 15 MB, and one message can carry up to 5 documents.
Does sharing my location in a chat keep tracking me?
No. It sends one place, once. It does not follow you afterwards.
Why can't I start a poll in my circle?
The circle's admins may have kept Start polls and events for admins only. Ask an admin, or check the circle's permissions if you run it.
