Pin a message to the top of a group
Pin up to 10 important messages for everyone in a group, step through them, unpin them, and who is allowed to pin.

Pinning keeps an important message at the top of a group for everyone, such as the water tanker number or this month's maintenance due date. A group can hold up to 10 pinned messages.
Open the message's options
In the app, press and hold the message. On the website, open its menu.Tap Pin to the top
On the website the option is Pin. Everyone in the group now sees it in the pinned strip.
The pinned strip
The strip sits under the group's name. With several pins it reads PINNED · 1 OF 3, and tapping it steps through them and jumps to each one in the chat. To see them all at once, open Pinned messages and tap Go to message on any of them.
Unpin
Choose Unpin from the message's options. In the app you can also press and hold the pinned strip.
The 10-pin limit
A group holds 10 pins. Pinning an eleventh removes the oldest pin, so keep the list for things people really need.
Who can pin
- In a circle group: admins, and members too if Pin messages is set to Everyone in Circle permissions.
- In a personal chat: either of you.
New members may also see pinned messages from before they joined, if the admin who approved them chose that. See Approve or decline join requests.
