React to a chat message

You can react to any message in a circle chat with one of six faces: 👍 ❤️ 😂 😮 😢 🙏. It's a quick way to say “noted” or “thank you” without adding another message.

1. Open the reactions

   In the app, press and hold the message. The six faces appear above it. On the website, choose React from the message's menu.

2. Pick a face

   Your reaction shows under the message, with a count.

Change or remove your reaction

You get one reaction per message.

• To change it, pick a different face. It replaces your old one.
• To remove it, tap the same face again.

See who reacted

Tap the reactions under a message. The Reactions sheet lists who reacted with what, with All and a tab for each face. Your own reaction shows Tap to remove.

Who can react

Everyone in the group, including:

• members of a group where only admins can send, such as Announcements;
• members an admin has muted, who can still read and react.
