Mute, remove or block circle members
Use a circle's member list to mute someone for 7 days, remove them, block them from asking again, or cancel an invitation.

Admins can mute, remove or block people from a circle's member list. Everything happens from the ⋯ next to a person's name.
Open Members
In the app, open the circle, tap the gear at the top, then Members. On the website, open the circle and choose Manage circle › Members.Find the person
Type in Search members, or use the filters at the top.Tap ⋯ and choose an action
Each action asks you to confirm before it happens.
Filters
In the app, the chips at the top are All, Admins, Muted, Invited and Blocked, each with a count. On the website you can search by name or door number, and switch between All and Admins.
What each action does
- Mute 7 days: they can still read and react, but can't send messages until the date shown. They see a note saying an admin muted them. Choose Unmute to lift it early.
- Remove: they leave the circle now. They can ask to join again later.
- Block: they leave the circle and can't ask to join again until you Unblock them. Find them under the Blocked filter.
- Cancel invitation: under Invited, this withdraws an invitation they haven't accepted yet.
When someone is removed or blocked, the messages they already sent stay in the chat. You can delete any of them yourself. See Edit or delete a message.
Limits on admins
The owner can't be muted, removed or blocked. Only the owner can mute or remove another admin. See Roles and handing over a circle.
