An invite link or QR code opens an invitation card for one circle. Tap Join the circle and you're in, or your request goes to the admins, depending on how the circle is set up.
Open the link or scan the code
Tap the link someone sent you, or point your phone's camera at the QR code. Scanning works exactly like the link.Check the invitation
The card greets you by name, says you are invited! and shows the circle's name, its member count and who sent the link. If the link is for one group as well, the group shows too.Tap Join the circle
Or tap Not now to leave it for later.
Straight in, or waiting for an admin
The card tells you what will happen before you tap:
- No waiting for approval means you're in as soon as you join, even if the circle is closed.
- An admin lets you in means your request goes to the circle's admins, and you get a notification when you're in.
If the link was for a group, you land in that group once you're in the circle.
Opening a link on your phone without the app
If you're signed out on a phone browser, the card offers Open in the Zinola app, Get the Zinola app and Continue in browser. If you install the app first, tap the invite link again afterwards and it opens in the app. See Get the Zinola app.
If the link doesn't work
If you see that the invite link has expired or been turned off, ask whoever sent it for a new one. Admins can turn a link off at any time, for example if it was shared too widely. See Turn off an invite link.
