Edit or delete a post or reply

You can edit or delete your own posts and replies at any time from the ⋯ menu. Deleting a post also removes every reply under it, and it can't be undone.

1. Open the ⋯ menu

   Tap ⋯ on your post, on the feed or on the post page. For a reply, tap ⋯ on the reply.

2. Choose Edit or Delete

   Edit lets you “Change the words or photos”. Delete removes it.

3. Save or confirm

   After editing, tap Save. To delete, confirm in the box that opens, or tap Keep it to change your mind.

Editing

• There's no time limit. You can edit a post or a reply whenever you like.
• You can change the words and the photos (up to 10).
• An edited post or reply shows Edited.
• If your new words include something our filter catches, the post is hidden while we check it. Only you can see it until then. See Why something you posted is hidden.

Deleting

• A post: “It disappears from the app, with all its replies. You cannot undo this here.” Anyone who replied loses the thread, and notifications about the post disappear too.
• A reply: “It disappears from the thread. You cannot undo this here.” If the asker had marked it This helped, that mark goes too.
• You can only edit or delete things you wrote. To get something of someone else's taken down, report it.
