A general post is for anything that isn't a question, a request or a recommendation: news, a warning, a lost pet, a thank-you to the street.

The five post types
| Type | Use it for | Main button neighbors see |
|---|---|---|
| Post | News, warnings, anything for your street | Reply |
| Ask | A question for people nearby | Answer |
| Request | You need a hand with something | I can help |
| Recommend | Someone you trust | Agree |
| Event | Something happening nearby | Going |
To host an event, use Plan an event on the app's + sheet, or the Event tab on the website. Both open the events form. See Host an event.
Polls and group buys aren't post types. They only work inside a circle's chat. See Polls.
Tips from the composer
- Warnings help most with a street name.
- Be kind. Neighbors read this.
Before you post, check who sees your post. If you leave half-way, you can save a draft.
