Reply, recommend or offer help on a post
Answer a neighbor's post with a reply, a recommendation or I can help. How each kind looks, and how to reply to a reply.

Open a post and use the box at the bottom to reply. On a question or a request you can also recommend someone or offer to help, and those replies are shown differently.
Open the post
Tap it on Home, or open it from a notification. On a feed card you can also tap its main button: Answer, I can help, Agree, Ask host or Reply, depending on the post.Choose what kind of reply
In the app, write in the box (“Say something nice…”) or tap a chip above it: I know someone to recommend a person or business, or Tag a business. On the website, pick Reply, Recommend someone or I can help above the box.Add anything that helps
Add photos, tag someone with @, and on the website add your number from the + menu with Add your number.Send it
Tap send. On the website the button says Recommend or Offer help for those kinds.
The three kinds of reply

A recommendation names someone. Pick a business from the list, or type a name if they're not on Zinola. You can recommend up to 3 people or businesses on one post. After that you'll see You've suggested 3 already — change one instead. In the app, the chip shows You suggested with the names, plus Change and Add another.
Replying to a reply
Tap Reply under someone's response. You'll see Replying to their name; tap Stop replying on the website to go back. Replies go one level deep: you reply to the response itself, not to a reply under it.
On your own post
You can reply to people who answer you, but you can't recommend or offer help on your own post. The app hides those chips for you. See Reply rules and limits.
Replying makes you follow the post, so you hear about new replies. See Follow a post.
