Deactivate your account

Take a break from Zinola: deactivating hides your profile and posts without deleting anything, and signing in brings it all back.

  • In the app
  • On zinola.in

Updated

Deactivating is a break, not a goodbye. Your profile and everything you wrote disappear from Zinola, but nothing is deleted. Sign back in whenever you like and it all comes back as it was.

  1. Open the leaving options

In the app, tap your photo › Settings › Legal & account, and find LEAVING. On the website, open Settings from the menu under your photo and scroll to the Leaving card.
  2. Tap Deactivate

In the app it's Deactivate my account.
  3. Confirm

You'll be asked “Deactivate your account?”. Tap Deactivate, or Stay to change your mind.

You're signed out straight away.

What deactivating does

  • Your profile disappears.
  • Your posts, reviews and comments are hidden.
  • Nothing is deleted.
  • Circles you started keep running without you.

Coming back

Sign in again with the same email and password, or the same Google or Apple account. Everything comes back as it was. There's nothing else to do.
