Choose which notifications you get
Turn push notifications on or off by group in the Zinola app: neighborhood, circles, messages, replies, enquiries, account and more.

You choose what reaches your phone in the app's notification settings. Notifications are sorted into groups, and each group has its own switch.
Open notification settings
In the app, tap your photo › Settings › Notifications.Check Push notifications is on
This main switch turns every push on or off at once. The group switches only show while it's on.Turn groups on or off
Each switch saves as soon as you tap it.
The groups

| Join requests & roles | People asking to join a circle you run, approvals, and changes to your role |
| People you follow | When someone you follow lists, posts, reviews or recommends something |

| Replies and mentions | Someone answers you, recommends someone, or puts your name in a post |
| Enquiries | Someone asking about your listing, or a seller or business answering you |
| Your account | Claims, reviews of you, and anything we need to tell you directly |
| Tips from your helper | Things like a question near you that nobody has answered yet |

- Notifications on this phone shows whether your phone itself allows Zinola to notify you. If it says Off, tap it to turn it on.
- Live connection shows whether instant messages and typing are reaching you.
- On Android, Not getting notifications when Zinola is closed? opens your phone's settings so you can set Battery to Unrestricted.

Common questions
How do I stop Zinola notifications on my phone?
Go to Settings › Notifications in the app and turn off Push notifications. Your phone goes quiet, and the bell in the app still keeps everything.
Can I get messages but not neighborhood posts?
Yes. Leave Messages on and turn off Your neighborhood. Each group has its own switch.
Why can't I see the group switches?
They only appear while Push notifications at the top is on. Turn it on and the groups show below it.
