Why was my listing hidden?

If neighbors report a listing, Zinola can hide it while it's looked at. A hidden listing shows Hidden after reports. See why and appeal in your listings, and it sits under In review.

Why listings get hidden

A listing is hidden when several people report it, so it stays down while a person at Zinola looks at it. It can also be hidden if its words go against the Community Guidelines (opens in a new tab). Hiding it is not a final decision.

While it's hidden, other people can't see it or enquire. Your existing chats stay where they are.

See why and ask us to look again

1. Open your listings

   In the app, tap My ads on the Market tab. On the website, open My listings.

2. Open the In review list

   Find the listing under In review.

3. See why it's hidden

   In the app, tap ⋯ › Why it is hidden. On the website, tap See why and appeal. Both open the Under review page. It shows how many people reported it and, often, the main reason they gave.

4. Tap Ask us to look again

   Under WHY SHOULD IT GO BACK UP?, tell us what the reports got wrong, and tap Send.

The status then reads You asked us to look again. When we decide, it changes to We put it back or It is staying down. See “Under review” and asking us to look again.

Reporting a listing yourself

If you see a listing that looks like a scam or breaks the rules, open it, tap ⋯ and choose Report. Your report is private. See Report a post, person or message and Why something you posted is hidden.
