Find your way around Zinola
What's on each tab of the app (Home, Circles, Chats, Market and +), the top bar, the You screen and the website's header and menu.

Zinola has five places in the app and a header on the website. Here's what's where.
The tabs in the app
| Tab | What's there |
|---|---|
| HOME | Two parts: Neighborhood, the feed from people around you, and What's on, events nearby. |
| CIRCLES | Your circles, like your building or street, and their group chats. Discover finds new ones. |
| + (Create) | Ask a question, recommend someone, ask for help, sell or give away, plan an event or write a review. |
| CHATS | One-to-one chats with people you follow, sellers and businesses. |
| MARKET | Things for sale, free or wanted nearby, and your own listings. |
The top bar in the app
Every tab's top bar ends with three buttons:
- Search, to find businesses, people, posts and more. See Search Zinola.
- The bell, which opens What's new. See The bell and “What's new”.
- Your face, which opens the You screen.
On Home, the top bar also shows your area. Tap it to change it.

Tap your face to find your posts and replies, Saved, My events, My listings, My businesses, Neighbors near me, Help and Settings.

Where are settings in the Zinola app?
Tap your face at the top right of any tab to open the You screen, then tap Settings.
What is the difference between Circles and Chats on Zinola?
Circles holds the group chats for your building, street or club. Chats holds one-to-one conversations with people, sellers and businesses.
What are Stories on Zinola?
Stories are first-hand reviews of local businesses written by neighbors. They are not posts that disappear.
