Home is where you see what's happening around you: questions, recommendations, requests for help and reviews from your neighbors, and events nearby.
Home in the app
At the top, two tabs switch Home between:
- Neighborhood: the feed from people around you.
- What's on: events near you, soonest first. Its badge shows how many are on this week. See Find events near you.
On Neighborhood, a few cards can sit above the feed. Each one only shows when it has something to say:
- Announcements from Zinola, such as a city notice. You can dismiss them.
- New messages from your chats, with See all.
- Get started, a five-step checklist for new members. See The Get started checklist.
- Join requests waiting for you, if you help run a circle. See Approve or decline join requests.
- People near you, with the neighbor of the week. See Neighbor of the week and Appreciate.
- Area prompts, such as Which part of town do you live in? See Area prompts on your Home.
Then comes the feed, titled On your streets, with filter chips that stay at the top as you scroll. Now and then the feed also shows a row of listings from the market, an invite card, or a QUICK QUESTION about what you like.
