Ask a business for a quote

You can ask any claimed business for a price or a quick answer straight from its page. Your message goes to the business, and they reply to you directly. Zinola doesn't take a cut or pick someone for you.

1. Open the business page

   The business must be claimed. For unclaimed ones, see “Tell them I am interested”.

2. Start your request

   In the app, tap Ask for a quote at the bottom. On the website, tap Message, which opens the Get a quote form.

3. Say what it's about

   Pick the services you're asking about, or Something else. Then describe the job: where, what's wrong and anything they should know.

4. Add a budget and timing

   Choose a rough budget, or enter an amount. Then pick when you need it, from Right away to Just planning. Both are optional.

5. Check your name and number

   They're filled in from your profile. Change them if the business should call a different number.

6. Send

   Tap Send quote request in the app or Send enquiry on the website.

What you need

• A 10-digit mobile number the business can reach you on.
• A message of at least a line or two.

Your number is shared only with this business.

Where replies arrive

Businesses usually reply within a day, but it's up to them. If you don't hear back, try calling or ask another business.
