Know a good business that isn't on Zinola yet? Anyone can add one, big or small, in three short steps. It goes up unclaimed, so neighbors can start reviewing it straight away.
Start adding
In the app, tap Add › in the business directory, or tap your photo and use Add it under “Run a business, big or small?”. On the website, use Add a business from the directory, or Add your business at the bottom of any business page.1. Find
Search Google for the business, and we'll bring the details across. Or tap Skip. I will type it in myself and type its name.2. Details
Pick what kind of business it is, what they do and their area. Phone, address, pincode, logo and banner are optional.3. Confirm
Check the preview of how it will look in the directory, then tap Put it on Zinola.
Limits
- Name: up to 120 characters.
- Trades: pick up to 12, as many as they really do. If you leave it empty, they show under their main group.
- Pincode: 6 digits.
Best photo size
| Picture | Best | Smallest that still looks sharp | Shape |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logo | 800 × 800 pixels | 400 × 400 pixels | Square |
| Banner | 1920 × 1080 pixels | 1200 × 675 pixels | Landscape (16:9) |
The app asks you to crop the logo square and the banner to 16:9. The banner fills the top of the business page, and the app trims its left and right edges, so keep the shopfront or signboard in the middle. More in Photo sizes that look best.
If it's already listed
If a listing with the same name, trade and area already exists, you'll see ALREADY LISTED. Adding a second one would split its reviews in two, so you can:
- Go to it: open the existing listing.
- That is mine. Claim it: claim the existing listing if it's your business.
- Add mine anyway: if it really is a different business.
What “unclaimed” means
Adding a business doesn't make it yours, even if it is. The listing shows Unclaimed until the owner claims it. Neighbors can review it, but nobody can message it yet. Any review you write stays either way.
If it's your own business, add it and then claim it. See Claim your business. Or use Zinola for Business to create your page: see Add a new business page.
Want to review a business you just added? See Write a review.
