Get an email when your question is answered
If the Zinola app isn't on your phone, we email you when someone answers your question. Here's how to turn it off.

If you ask a question and the Zinola app isn't on any of your phones, we email you when someone answers. Once you have the app, answers come as notifications instead.
When the email is sent
- Someone replies to your question.
- The app isn't installed and signed in on any phone of yours.
- Email me when my question is answered is on. It's on unless you turn it off.
The email names who answered and links to your question. Tap Read the answer to open it.
Turn it off or back on
Open Settings on the website
Open Settings from the menu under your photo, and scroll to the email switches.Switch “Email me when my question is answered”
Turn it off to stop these emails, or on to get them back.Save
Tap Save changes at the bottom of the page.
You can also tap Stop reply emails at the bottom of any of these emails.
Getting answers faster
Install the app and sign in. Answers then reach your phone the moment they arrive, and these emails stop on their own. See Get the Zinola app.

The app isn't on any of your phones, so we sent the answer by email instead of a notification. Install the app and these emails stop on their own.
How do I stop Zinola reply emails?
Tap Stop reply emails at the bottom of the email, or turn off Email me when my question is answered in Settings on the website and tap Save changes.
I have the app. Why don't I get these emails?
With the app on your phone, answers come as notifications instead. The email is only for people without the app.
