Change your notification tone and sounds
Pick Chime, Pop, Bell or Drop as your Zinola tone, and choose whether it plays while the app is open.

You can pick the tone Zinola plays on your phone, and decide whether it plays while the app is open. Both settings are in the app only.
Open notification settings
In the app, tap your photo › Settings › Notifications.Tap Notification tone
Choose Chime, Pop, Bell or Drop. It's used for messages and notifications on this phone.Set Sound in the app
Turn on Sound in the app to hear the tone when something arrives while Zinola is open. Turn it off to stay silent while you're using the app.
Things to know
- Your phone's silent mode always wins. If your phone is on silent or vibrate, Zinola won't override it.
- The tone is set per phone. If you use Zinola on two phones, set it on each.
- Sound in the app works even when push notifications are off, because it's a sound inside the app, not a push.
- During quiet hours, notifications arrive without sound or vibration.

Common questions
How do I change the Zinola notification sound?
In the app, go to Settings › Notifications › Notification tone and pick Chime, Pop, Bell or Drop.
How do I stop Zinola making a sound while I'm using it?
Turn off Sound in the app under Settings › Notifications. Notifications still arrive, without the tone.
Can I change the tone on the website?
No. Tones are a phone setting, so they're only in the app.
