Comment on, react to and share stories

Stories work like posts: you can react, comment, give a shout-out, save and share. It's a good way to thank someone for a useful review or ask them a follow-up question.

1. Open the story

   Tap it on a business page, on your Home feed or under Stories on the website.

2. React

   Tap React and pick one of the six reactions. See React to a post.

3. Comment

   Write in Add a comment… and tap Send. To answer someone, tap Reply under their comment.

4. Shout out, save or share

   Use the buttons on the story to give it a shout-out, save it or send it on.

Comments

Comments show your name. Ask the writer what you'd want to know before hiring: “Did it last?”, “What did it cost?”.

To remove your own comment, open its menu and delete it. It disappears from the thread.

The owner's reply

The business can post one public reply to each story, marked Owner. It's shown under the story, separate from neighbors' comments. Business owners: see Reply to a review.

Shout-outs

A shout-out boosts a story so your followers see it on their Home. It's the best way to pass on a really good review. See Give a shout-out.

Save and share

• Save keeps the story so you can find it later. See Save posts, stories and businesses.
• Share sends a link. On the website you can also send it on WhatsApp or Copy link.
