The neighbor of the week is someone from your circles who's been helping out, by answering questions or reviewing local businesses. You can say thank you with one tap: 👏 Appreciate.
Where to find it
Appreciate them
Find the card
Open Home and look for the neighbor of the week.Tap 👏 Appreciate
They'll see that you appreciated their help.
On the website, the card then says You appreciated this and shows how many neighbors have appreciated them. In the app, the line goes away and only the faces stay.
The rules
- You need to share a circle with them. If you don't, you'll see “You can only vouch for someone you share a circle with.” See Find and join a circle.
- It's once only. A second tap doesn't take it back, so you can't un-appreciate someone by accident.
- You need to be signed in.
An appreciation counts as saying the person is Helpful. In the app, these show on their profile under “What neighbors say”. See “What neighbors say”.
Who gets picked
Zinola picks someone who shares a circle with you and answered questions or left reviews in the last seven days. Answers count for more than reviews. If you're not in a circle yet, there's no neighbor of the week to show. If you'd like to be picked, answer a few questions on your street. See Reply to a post.
