Every lead has a stage, so you and your team can see at a glance which customers still need you. There are five: New, Talking, Quoted, Won and Lost.
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| New | Nobody has answered or moved it yet |
| Talking | You're in touch with the customer |
| Quoted | You've sent them a price |
| Won | They hired you |
| Lost | It didn't happen |
Change a lead's stage
Open the lead
Go to Leads and tap it.Pick the new stage
On the website, use the buttons beside Move to. In the app, tap a chip under Stage.
You don't always need to do this yourself. Sending the first reply moves a New lead to Talking automatically.
Why stages matter
- The numbers at the top of the Leads tab count leads by stage, including Won this month.
- On the website, won and lost leads fade in the list, so open work stands out.
- Your whole team sees the same stage, so two people don't call the same customer.
