Invite friends to Zinola

Zinola is more useful when your neighbors are on it. Invite them with your own link or QR code. Whoever joins with it lands on your profile, so they can follow you straight away.

1. Open Invite friends

   In the app, tap your photo, then Invite on the Bring your neighbors card. On the website, open Invite friends from your profile menu.

2. Pick how to send it

   In the app, choose WhatsApp, SMS or Share or copy. On the website, choose Copy or Share on WhatsApp.

3. Or show your QR code

   Ask your neighbor to point their phone camera at it. On the website, tap Show QR.

The message reads something like: “I'm on Zinola, where our neighborhood asks around and shares local tips. Join me:” followed by your link. Paste it into your society's WhatsApp group or send it to a friend.

You need a username first

Your invite link is built from your username. If you don't have one yet, you'll see “You need a username before you get an invite link. Add one in Settings.” Tap Open settings, choose a username, and come back. See Change your username.

See who joined

The Bring your neighbors card counts how many people joined with your link. When someone new says you invited them, you get a notification. See “Who invited you?” and invite credit.

Inviting people to a circle

This link invites someone to Zinola itself. To bring people into a particular circle, like your apartment association, use that circle's invite link or code. See Invite people to your circle.
