Find people on Zinola

The people directory shows the neighbors behind the posts, answers and reviews on Zinola. Use it to find someone you know, see who lives nearby, or meet people in your circles.

1. Open the directory

   In the app, tap your photo, then Neighbors near me. On the website, go to People, or search for a name and open the People tab.

2. Pick who to look at

   Choose a tab or scope, listed below.

3. Search by name

   Type a name in the search box. On the website you can also search by area.

4. Open a profile or follow

   Tap a person to see their profile, or follow them straight from the list.

In the app

Switch between three scopes:

• Near me: people in and around your area, nearest first.
• My circles: people who are in circles with you. A small badge on someone's photo shows how many circles you share.
• Everyone: everyone on Zinola who is listed.

On the website

The People page has five tabs: Everyone, Your network (people you follow), From your circles, Around you and Same interests. People are grouped by place, such as your area, Nearby and Elsewhere in your city. At the top, People you might know suggests a few neighbors. See People you may know.

Who shows up

Only people who let neighbors find them appear in the directory and in suggestions. If you'd rather not be listed, turn off Let neighbors find me in your settings. Your public posts and reviews stay public either way. See “Let neighbors find me”.
