| In the app | On the website | |

| Events | Yes | Yes |
| Marketplace listings | Yes | No |
A repost quotes one thing. Reposting a repost quotes the original, never a repost of a repost.
You can't repost:
- something that's been deleted or taken down;
- something by a person you've blocked, or who has blocked you;
- a listing that has ended, or one shown only in circles.
A canceled or past event can still be reposted; its card says so.
Who sees a repost
Your repost is a normal public post in your area. It's tagged Repost, and your name line says what you shared, for example shared a question or shared an event. Readers tap the quoted card to open the original.
When you repost a neighborhood post, its writer gets a notification: “Reposted your post”.
A repost is never treated as a question or a request, even if your words end in a question mark.
Edit or delete a repost
It's your post, so use its ⋯ menu. Deleting your repost doesn't touch the original. See Edit or delete a post.
