What can I do about an unfair review?

You can't delete a review of your business, and neither can Zinola for a fee. But if a review breaks the rules, you can report it, and our team will look.

What breaks the rules

Report a review if it:

• is about a different business, or doesn't describe a real experience with you;
• was written by a competitor, or by someone who works for one;
• contains abuse, threats or hate;
• shares someone's phone number, address or other private details;
• is spam or an advert.

A low rating or a complaint you disagree with isn't against the rules on its own. Read the Community Guidelines (opens in a new tab) to see the full list.

Report it

1. Open the review on zinola.in or the Zinola app

   Find it on your business page, signed in with your Zinola account.

2. Open its menu and choose Report

   Pick the reason that fits best.

3. Wait for our team

   Every report is looked at by a person.

There's no report button in Zinola for Business itself. For more detail, see Report a review.

If there's more to explain, email hello@zinola.in with a link to the review. A person replies, usually within one working day.

Reply in the meantime

A calm, factual reply often does more than a removal. New customers read both sides.

• Thank them for the feedback.
• Set out what happened, without blaming or naming anyone.
• Offer to put it right, and say how to reach you.
