Your page is judged on its photos before anyone reads a word. Photos of the right size and shape look sharp on zinola.in and in the Zinola app, and nothing important gets cut off.

Where your photos show
- Logo: small, with rounded corners, beside your name in search, on cards and on your page.
- Banner: the first slide at the top of your page. It's 16:9 on the website; the app shows it taller and trims the left and right edges.
- Gallery and projects: 4:3 tiles on the Photos tab, and slides after the banner at the top of your page. The full photo opens when someone taps it.
- Event cover: a different shape on each screen. The website's event page trims the top and bottom, the app trims the sides, and a shared link shows a tall slice from the middle.
What you can upload
- Formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF. iPhone HEIC photos aren't accepted on business.zinola.in: share them as JPEG first, or take a screenshot.
- File size: pick a photo up to 10 MB. It's shrunk for you before it's sent.
- Bigger isn't sharper: every photo is resized to at most 2048 pixels on its long side.
- Transparent logos get a white background when uploaded from the website. Use a logo on a plain white or light background.
Make your page look good
- Real photos beat stock pictures: finished jobs, your team at work, your shop or van.
- Shoot in daylight, phone held sideways, with the subject filling most of the frame.
- Take a before and its after from the same spot, the same way round.
- Skip text on the banner. It's hard to read on a phone, and the app trims the edges.
- Add the area to job photos with photo details, so customers nearby recognize their neighborhood.
Common questions
What size should my Zinola banner be?
1920 × 1080 pixels, landscape (16:9), with the important part in the middle. The smallest that still looks sharp is 1200 × 675.
What size should my logo be?
Square, 800 × 800 pixels, at least 400 × 400, on a plain background.
Why is my banner cut off in the app?
The app shows the banner taller than 16:9, so it trims the left and right edges. Keep your shopfront or team in the centre.
Do I need to resize photos before uploading?
No. Pick a photo up to 10 MB and it's shrunk for you. Just make sure it's the right shape.
