Add a banner to your page

The banner is the wide picture across the top of your business page, and the first photo people see. If you don't add one, your page opens on your first project or photo instead.

On the website

1. Open Photos

   Open your page and go to Photos. The Banner section shows how it will look on your page.

2. Choose Add a banner

   Pick a landscape image, 16:9 (such as 1920 × 1080 pixels). To replace it later, choose Change banner.

3. Or use a gallery photo

   Hover over any photo in your gallery and choose Use as banner.

To take the banner off, choose Remove.

In the app

Best photo size

On zinola.in your banner is shown at exactly this shape, across the top of your page. In the Zinola app it fills the top of the screen, which is taller than 16:9, so the left and right edges are trimmed. Keep the important part, your shopfront, your team or your best job, in the middle.

Tips for a good banner

• Use a wide photo. A tall or square picture gets cropped.
• Show your best work, your team or your shopfront. Real photos earn more enquiries than stock pictures.
• Keep the important part in the middle, so it isn't cut off on phones.
• Avoid text on the image. It's hard to read on a small screen.
