How does a business get the verified tick?

The verified tick next to a business's name tells customers two things: Zinola has checked the business, and it belongs to the person who runs the page. A business gets it when Zinola approves the owner's claim.

1. Claim your listing

   Find your business on zinola.in and choose Claim it, or claim it from Zinola for Business. See Claim your business listing.

2. Take our call

   A person from Zinola calls to check that you run the business, and may ask for proof.

3. Get approved

   When we approve the claim, you become the owner and the tick appears on your page.

What doesn't give a tick

• A phone check on its own. The Verify pending and Verified chips on your page cards, and the PENDING and VERIFIED badges in the app, show whether we've checked the number on the listing. That's a contact detail, not the tick.
• Money. Nobody can pay for the tick, for a better place in search, or to have reviews removed. Zinola for Business is free.
• A listing nobody owns. A business that hasn't been claimed doesn't show a tick, even if we know it's real.

Where customers see it
