Edit or cancel an event

You can change any detail of an upcoming event, or call it off. Guests who said Going or Maybe hear from Zinola when it matters to them.

Edit an event

1. Open the event

   On the website, go to Events and tap Manage. In the app, go to More › Events, tap the event, then Edit.

2. Change what you need

   The form is the same one you used to post it. On the website it's below the guest list and questions.

3. Tap Save changes

   The event updates straight away.

If you change the time, the venue or the area, everyone who said Going or Maybe is told. Smaller edits, such as the description or the cover photo, don't send a notification.

Cancel an event

1. Open the event

   As above.

2. Tap Cancel event

   It's at the bottom of the page.

3. Add a reason if you like

   Why? (optional) takes up to 300 characters, for example “The hall is flooded. New date soon.”

4. Tap Yes, cancel it

   Or Keep it to change your mind.

Everyone who said Going or Maybe is told it's canceled. The event page stays up, marked Canceled, so people who saved the link can see what happened. You can't undo a cancellation; to run it again, post a new event.

Past events can't be canceled, and they move to the Past list on their own.
